Role Overview:
The Marketing Assistant plays a key role on the marketing team, focusing on social media execution, podcast publishing, and performance reporting. Working closely with the Content Strategist and other team members, this role ensures that all content is published on time, organized across platforms, and aligned with Conway’s brand voice. The Marketing Assistant also tracks performance metrics, helps optimize content for each platform, and supports the team in achieving overall marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
Podcast Publishing & Marketing
Upload and schedule finalized podcast audio and show notes to Libsyn
Format and input episode titles, descriptions, and show notes according to approved templates
Coordinate publishing based on the approved schedule
Upload marketing content to Monday.com for review
Assist in pulling quotes, timestamps, or highlights from episodes for social media repurposing
Social Media Execution
Upload and organize content in Monday.com for review and approval (Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other networks as needed)
Keep content systems organized and updated using Google Workspace, Canva, and Monday.com
Format captions according to brand voice/tone guidelines, utilizing ChatGPT as needed
Assist with hashtag research and basic keyword optimization for YouTube and Pinterest
Design simple graphics or thumbnails using branded Canva templates
Schedule approved posts using native scheduling tools or other scheduling software
Maintain and update the content planning calendar with content status and timelines
Upload and tag video content to YouTube Shorts with proper titles, descriptions, and thumbnails
Respond to comments and DMs on behalf of Conway Mentorship
Set up ManyChats functions for new podcast episodes and promotions
Email Marketing & Technical Support
Understand and work within HubSpot workflows
Program, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns
Manage content updates on our website using Squarespace, Wordpress and Click Funnels
Assist with other technical marketing tasks as needed
Reporting & Overall Support
Collaborate with the Content Strategist and marketing team to ensure objectives are met
Ensure all deadlines are met and content is prepped in advance for approvals
Maintain dashboards, checklists, and workflows in Monday.com
Pull metrics weekly or monthly (per pre-defined KPIs) from podcast platforms, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube
Populate monthly performance reports with data, insights, and recommendations
Role Details:
Remote position that is open to candidates throughout North America, however, preference will be given to those living in the Saskatoon area.
Entry level position with opportunity for advancement and leadership over time.
Full-time, hourly role
Work on EST, communicate via Slack & Zoom
Weekly online team meetings for project updates
Company hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST; communications outside these hours can be responded to the following business day
Key internal meetings: Marketing Team Meeting – Monday at 1:00 PM EST, Team Conway Weekly, Mindset Call – Tuesday at 11:00 AM EST, other copy/content meetings as needed, typically small-group sessions with company leaders or Content Strategist
Company-wide breaks: 2 weeks in August, 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year
Opportunities for personal and professional development, and eventually attending client-facing events.
To thrive in this role the ideal person has:
2–5 years of experience in social media, copywriting, content marketing, or a related field.
University or college degree in marketing, communications, or journalism an asset.
Confident using Monday.com, Google Workspace, Canva, and platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn—always curious about new trends.
Able to work remotely from Canada or the United States.
A genuine love for content creation and personal development.
Knowledge of the coaching industry and excitement about contributing to a growing global brand.
Collaborative mindset—thrives working with other creatives to produce exceptional results.
Humble and eager to learn, with a hunger to grow in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Naturally curious, inquisitive, and always looking for ways to improve.
